Mohawk Valley Trading Company - Wildflower Honey - Review
My fourth review for Mohawk Valley Trading Company is for their
Wildflower Honey. Wildflower Honey is one of Mohawk Valley Trading Company's 5 varieties of raw honey, which includes Buckwheat Honey, Apple Blossom Honey, Orange Blossom Honey, and Blueberry Blossom Honey. Their raw honey is unpasteurized, unfiltered, unprocessed, unheated, and unblended.
Wildflower Honey, also known as polyfloral honey, is derived from the nectar of numerous species of flowers or blossoms. The taste, aroma and flavor will vary from season to season, depending on which flowers are dominant at the time the nectar is collected. Raw wildflower honey is often used by pollen allergy sufferers to lessen their sensitivity to pollen by eating 1 to 2 tsp. of it each day. The idea is, that by introducing small amounts of pollen into their system by eating raw honey, a tolerance to pollen allergens is built up.
I absolutely loved the Wildflower Honey! It is just amazing. It is sweet and has a wonderful flavor that I really liked. The color is beautiful, and the consistency is thick. It would be easily spreadable. I would love to try this on some biscuits or toast for breakfast. I also think that it would be amazing to bake with. Out of the three that I was able to try, this one is my favorite. The benefits to my children's health as allergy sufferers makes this honey even better!
I definitely plan on getting more of the Wildflower Honey. I also hope to try some of Mohawk Valley Trading Company's other flavors, like the Apple Blossom Honey and the Orange Blossom Honey. My experience with this company's products has been very enjoyable, and I am looking forward to trying more!
If you would like to purchase your own jar of Wildflower Honey then just stop by The Mohawk Valley Trading Company!
I received one or more of the products listed above from the Mohawk Valley Trading Company for free in exchange for an honest review.
