Now she is wearing skinny jeans, leggings, those tunic tops, and suede boots. She never wears her tennis shoes any more. She has to have her calf length suede boots on. It is crazy. Lately she says she needs new boots. Apparently there is a new boot fashion out there. One that I am not yet privy to. She absolutely has to have these boots. She needs to have all the latest trends.
I was (and still am) a jeans and t-shirt person. I never had the latest fashions and I never worried about it. I guess I never expected to have such a materialistic child. Where will this go in the future? In a world where our children see is how the famous dress their children, I have a feeling things could get worse. I love my material girl, and I don't mind her looking nice, especially her school clothes. I just hope that she is okay with being fashionable on a budget. With four siblings, she might not have a choice.

Thank you for stopping by! I will do the same for you. I would love to be added to your blogroll. I do not have a blog button yet, so I hope that isn't needed.
DeleteI can't wait for my boys to start up with all that junk... only a matter of time till i can use the words "you want those designer jeans... thats nice... perhaps you should get a job cause i'll be damned if I am going to get them for you!"
ReplyDeletevisiting from the hop!
Haha! Yeah, one day I'll be saying that. But for now they all know how to sweet talk their grandparents. :) Thank you for stopping by!!
DeleteWow, I can so relate. My oldest little girl is 4, but she acts like a teen. She is constantly reminding me that my hair is messy or that I am not wearing makeup. She loves pretty clothes, and I am definitely a jeans and T-shirt person (or even a sweats and pajama person). I love my little girly girl, and she will have to agree to trendy clothes on a budget too, as she has three siblings.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower and I am stopping by from the Stop, Drop and Alexa Hop.
